The tool change system consists of a tool magazine (multipla of 20 tools) and a electromechanical end stop measuring device. The tool-pods can be removed/exchanged individually simply by unscrewing the faulty pods and inserting new ones. The tool-change measuring device does not normally need any service. Only if the CNC shows a continous tool-change fault, it might be necessary to clean the device. This is easily achieved by removing the entire tool magazine, and use a little compressed air to clean the system. |
